A new indoor adventure has come to Charlotte N.C. iFLY is an indoor skydiving experience that gives you the sensation that comes with floating on air. Indoor skydiving is like true freefalling in a vertical wind tunnel.
The increase in availability of wind tunnels has created a whole new sport – bodyflight. It’s one of the most exciting and fastest growing sports in the world. Combine blood-pumping adrenaline with technical ability and athleticism, you get bodyflight. During the flight, your instructor teaches you to fly your body.
Upon arriving and checking in at iFLY, their is a personalized training session before flying. Once you have met with your instructor and learned the fundamentals it’s time to gear up and prepare for your experience of bodyflight. The entire first time flight experience takes 1-2 hours.
